Katelyn graduated Suma Cum Laude, with a double Bachelor’s of Science in Anthropology and Psychology, from the University of New Mexico in 2014. Katelyn initally served as a temporary receptionist at NMAC beginning in 2009. In 2013, Katelyn was hired as a part-time contractor to administer the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange grant for counties. After her contract ended, Katelyn became a full-time employee in 2015 and currently serves as the Intergovernmental Relations Assistant.
Role at NMAC
Katelyn’s role as the Intergovernmental Relations Assistant is to provide high-level administrative support on various intergovernmental projects including federal grant administration, serving on the Infrastructure Finance Conference planning committee, coordinating the annual Wildland Urban Interface Summit and Gathering of Counties, assisting with NMAC conferences, and staff liaison to the NMAC Native American Committee and other collaborative initiatives.
