NMAC Board of Directors
The NMAC Board of Directors meets six times a year in January, February, May, June, August, and October. The January and June meeting are held during the Legislative and Annual Conferences. The February meeting focuses on legislative issues.
NMAC Executive Committee
The Executive Committee meets several times throughout the year and includes teleconference meetings during the legislative session, a spring budget meeting, and a joint meeting with the New Mexico Municipal League (NMML) towards the end of the year.
Workers’ Compensation Pool Board
The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Pool holds its General Membership Meeting during the Annual Conference in June each year and also hosts four pool boards of directors meetings annually. No voting proxies are allowed.
Multi-Line Pool Board
The Multi-Line Insurance Pool holds its General Membership Meeting during the Legislative Conference in January each year and also hosts five pool boards of directors meetings annually. No voting proxies are allowed.
Law Enforcement and Detention Advisory Committee (LEDAC)
The Law Enforcement and Detention Advisory Committee was created by the Multi-Line Pool Board of Directors to advise on law enforcement issues. This committee meets as necessary and reports to the Multi-Line Pool Board of Directors. No voting proxies are allowed.
Legislative District Meetings
Legislative district meetings are held in March after the 30-day legislative session and in April after the 60-day legislative session. These district meetings are to report on the latest legislative session and the potential effects legislative changes will have on New Mexico’s county governments. All county elected officials, managers, and county employees are encouraged to attend and participate. State legislators are invited to give their perspective on the session.
