Wildland Urban Fire Summit
(Previously named Wildland Urban Interface WUI Summit)
The state’s leading authorities in wildfire preparedness will be meeting in Santa Fe, April 10-12, to host the 2018 Wildland Urban Fire (WUF) Summit. The summit provides an ideal opportunity for state, local, and community leaders to discuss and prepare the state for wildfires, including the impending 2018 wildfire season. The theme for the 2018 summit is “Collaborative Community Action” and this topic will be addressed throughout the three-day event. This annual collaborative event is hosted by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, New Mexico State Land Office, New Mexico State Forestry, New Mexico State Land Office, Forest Stewards Guild, Northern Arizona University – Southwest Fire Consortium, and New Mexico Association of Counties.
Registration is $75.00 in advance and $85.00 onsite. Scholarships are available until March 9, 2018 for non-federally employed individuals who wish to participate. This financial assistance is offered through the Northern Arizona University’s Southwest Fire Consortium.
Exhibit booth fees are $15o.00 or $100.00 for non- profits, and includes one full registration for a representative. Additional representatives are charged $75.00 or $85.00 for onsite registration. As a registered exhibitor you can attend all of the summit events alongside our attendees. We know that the best way to get the most out of your exhibiting experience is to interact with the attendees all day, every day.
