NFIP Flood Coverage

If your county owns a building in a special hazard flood zone

and has not purchased flood insurance, you have a gap in coverage –

up to $1 million for that building.

The Multi-Line Pool and its property carrier County Reinsurance Limited (CRL) do not provide flood coverage from the first dollar of loss due to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

County Reinsurance Limited’s broker Marsh LLC has developed a program to help counties purchase a flood zone determination (if needed) at $8.75 per location, a flood elevation certification at $800 per address, and purchase flood coverage for buildings in special hazard flood zones through the NFIP.
