NMC keeps counties informed through different communication media.

The communication department develops and executes public relations, marketing, and communication programs that support the strategic and business initiatives of NMC, raising broad awareness of the roles of NMC and county government. NMC communicates through weekly electronic news briefs, annual legislative reports, press releases, nationally through NACo, and on social media with FB and Twitter.

Communicating current and immediate future information on events, trainings, conferences, meetings, and highlight of county accomplishments allows county members to share best practices and to learn the latest legislative changes that may affect counties. NMC provides counties with tools that will make it easier to promote their services and programs in their community.
