Under direction of supervisor, the Desktop Support Specialist III is responsible for the installation and support computer hardware, software and related equipment, including network connection, and telephone installation/issue resolution.  This employee will work with all levels of County staff to analyze and resolve problems with computer hardware or software or to propose and implement new products.  The Desktop Support Specialist III will resolve complex issues and perform a full range advanced production support activities.  Serve as the technical expert in the Desktop Support area and ensure resolution of all escalated issues and projects.
