The Information Technology Director is responsible for managing the County’s computer and telephone hardware, networks, operating systems, software, configurations, applications, training, data, and security. Employee will coordinate with departments to implement solutions, support existing technologies, assist in the planning process, and provide technical support as required for continuity of operations and service to the public. A combination of education, systems, network administration, project management, and security experience is required for this position. The IT Director is responsible for the departmental budget, strategic operation/automation planning, and supervision/training of staff to ensure consistent and progressive operations. Employee manages the department including personnel, budget, and functional tasks.
