Police Corporal: Under general supervision of the Police Sergeant, provides work direction and backup to other officers on shift, patrols assigned area, responds to dispatched calls for service, enforces traffic and safety zones, investigates traffic accidents and other crimes, prepares reports documenting incidents and investigations, interacts with the citizens, and participates in specialized teams to protect life and property and assure the safety of the public. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
