Cooperative Educational Services is a Purchasing Cooperative united by a Joint Powers Agreement to aid Public Schools in New Mexico. CES is an organization comprised of New Mexico's 89 school districts plus 81 other public education institutions, including charter schools, two and four-year post-secondary institutions, BIE schools and state schools. Cooperative Educational Services aspires to be known as one of the best educational service agencies in the country and the program of choice in New Mexico.

We make purchasing simple for our Members and Participating Entities. CES saves our participants significant amounts of time and money by soliciting bids and proposals on a state and national level and award contracts on their behalf. CES’ Members and Participating Entities also have the assurance that CES contracts offer the best overall value and pricing in compliance with New Mexico Procurement Code.

Since its inception in 1979, CES has been providing Ancillary services to member districts and schools . These services are provided through an annual contractual arrangement with CES between the schools and the providers. Through this program CES assists schools by providing support for their special education program. Qualified related service providers are employed and may be placed in any of the member schools throughout New Mexico on a full or part time basis during the school year. These include all of the K-12 school districts in New Mexico and over 75 charter schools, BIE schools and other member agencies.

CES also has an established Professional Services program that provides a nucleus of trained personnel to meet your consultancy or contract position needs. Our Professional Service staff is comprised of mid-level to executive level personnel that have proven abilities to serve your organization in a variety of professional areas. Our screening process involves a comprehensive interview, reference check, and we also require a criminal background check.

The Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust Southwest (LECET Southwest) is a partnership between the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) and their signatory contractors throughout California, Arizona, New Mexico and Western Texas. LECET Southwest works with LIUNA’s Local Unions, District Councils, and the Pacific Southwest Regional Office and more than 2,000 signatory contractors.

The primary mission of this labor-management partnership is to create and implement strategies which build market share for LIUNA‐signatory contractors, create job opportunities for the laborers they employ, advance market-related interests and enhance labor-management cooperation. To meet those goals, LECET Southwest works with LIUNA, other Laborer-Management offices, contractors and their associations, and various community, business and government groups.

From top to bottom, LECET Southwest works to provide value to the construction industry. Whether through providing project leads, creating business partners, researching emerging markets, helping to secure project financing, or navigating the regulatory or political process, LECET Southwest and LIUNA are advocates for the construction industry, their signatory contractors and their members.
